Our Story
Sori Shop Bright Hope Association was founded by 15 dedicated Ethiopian volunteers and descendants of Ethiopians, both locally and abroad. Our organization was established on September 14, 2025, and is officially registered and certified by the Kirkos Sub-city, Wereda 11 Women, Children, and Social Affairs Office of Addis Ababa.
We work to compassionately support elderly, vulnerable, jobless, helpless, and needy individuals without any form of discrimination.

Objectives
Objectives of Sori Shop Bright Hope Association:
Provide financial, labor, training, and other necessary support to vulnerable individuals without discrimination.
Empower jobless and economically vulnerable people through vocational training, financial assistance, and social support to help them live better lives and achieve self-reliance.
Strengthen the culture of mutual support within communities by empowering disadvantaged and forgotten individuals, enabling them to become self-sufficient and role models for others.
Target Groups
Our association focuses on supporting:
- Elderly people in need of care and support
- Individuals requiring medical assistance
- Children lacking educational materials
- Jobless citizens, including those with disabilities or limited capacity
Our Plans
The Association has short-term, medium-term, and long-term plans as outlined below:
Short-Term Plans(0 -2 Years)
- Provide financial and material assistance to elderly and medically vulnerable individuals.
- Distribute essential items (food, clothing, educational materials) to needy families.
- Clean and renovate homes for the elderly, disabled, and disadvantaged.
Medium-Term Plans(2 -5 Years)
- Collaborate with government and non-government organizations to expand impact.
- Develop sustainable income-generating initiatives.
- Establish local and international fundraising projects.
Long-Term Plans(5+ Years)
Scale services nationwide based on proven best practices.
Establish rehabilitation centers for elderly and vulnerable populations.
